Effective date: 15 November 2026
These terms apply when you browse zapgroceries.com or order from Zap Groceries by website, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook. Zap Groceries is operated by ZAP GROCERIES LIMITED (RC 9917211), Warehouse 023, Mabushi Ultra Modern Market, Abuja (“we”, “us”). By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in them limits your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law.
1. Products
We sell authentic imported groceries and household products. Product photos are for illustration; packaging may vary slightly between batches. We describe products, sizes and pack quantities as accurately as we can. If an item is not as described, our Return & Refund Policy applies.
2. Prices
- All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include any applicable taxes. Delivery is charged separately.
- Prices are shown per item, per pack or per carton as marked. Carton and multipack prices apply only when you buy the full carton or pack.
- Prices may change when supplier costs change. The price that applies is the one we confirm to you before you pay.
- If we make an obvious pricing error, we will tell you before dispatch, and you can choose to pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
3. Placing an order
- Send your order through the website, on WhatsApp (0702 565 0074) or by email to order@zapgroceries.com.
- We confirm which items are available, the total price and the delivery fee.
- Your order is accepted once we confirm it and receive your payment.
We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or an address is outside our delivery area. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.
4. Payment
We accept payment by bank transfer to our business account and, where available on our website, by card through a secure payment provider. Please send proof of payment. We dispatch orders once payment is received. We will never ask for your card PIN, OTP or online banking password.
5. Delivery
- We deliver within Abuja. The delivery fee depends on your location and on the dispatch rider’s charge at the time of your order, so it can vary by day and time. We always confirm the delivery fee before you pay.
- Same-day delivery: in-stock orders paid before 1pm, Monday to Saturday, are delivered the same day. Orders paid later are delivered the next working day. Our working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
- Urgent orders outside working hours: we will try to help with emergency orders sent outside our working hours, but we cannot guarantee delivery, and the rider’s out-of-hours charge may be higher. We will confirm whether we can deliver, and the fee, before you pay.
- Pre-orders: items we source for you are usually delivered in 3 to 5 days. We will tell you if there is a delay.
- Please make sure someone is available to receive the order. If a delivery fails because no one is available, we may charge a second delivery fee.
- Ownership of and responsibility for the goods pass to you on delivery.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel an in-stock order for a full refund before it is dispatched. Pre-orders can be cancelled before we confirm we have bought the items. See our Return & Refund Policy for returns after delivery.
7. Product safety and use
Please read the label, use-by date and instructions before use, and store products as directed. For baby milk and baby food, follow the manufacturer’s preparation instructions and your doctor’s or health worker’s advice. If you have allergies or skin sensitivities, check the ingredients before use.
8. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for supplying products that are as described, of good quality and safe when used as directed. We are not responsible for loss caused by misuse of a product, by not following its instructions, or by events beyond our reasonable control (such as severe weather, road closures or strikes). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
9. Your information
We use your personal information to process and deliver your orders, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
11. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a complaint, contact us first on WhatsApp (0702 565 0074) or at support@zapgroceries.com, and we will try to resolve it within 5 working days. You may also contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC).
